John D. Briggs II is the Managing Member of Lexum Enterprises, L.L.C. Before joining Lexum Enterprises, Mr. Briggs was a partner in the real estate section of the global law firm, Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, L.L.P., where he focused his practice on commercial real estate transactions.
Mr. Briggs has more than twenty-three years of professional experience as a lawyer, having been a partner in the corporate and real estate sections of three large law firms and the senior real estate attorney in the US Mid-Atlantic region for Bank of America. He is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, Georgia, Texas and Virginia.
As an adjunct professor, Mr. Briggs has taught the course titled “Real Estate Transactions” at Southern Methodist University Law School. He also served as a law clerk to the late Honorable Bailey Brown of the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
